The Tilbury District Family Health Team is delighted to announce the recruitment of a new physician to the Chatham-Kent community.

Dr. Niren Naidoo has resigned from his full-time family practice which began in August 2009. Dr. Basunga Bernard Limbombe, an accomplished and dedicated physician joined the Tilbury District Family Health Team April 1, 2011. Dr. Limbombe relocated from his full-time family practice at the Harrow Family Health Team, to join the interdisciplinary team and six existing family physicians. He has over 20 years of dedicated service to patients and expertise in Community health and outreach support program, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. He is also fluent in both English and French. Dr. Limbombe says, “I'm looking forward to practicing in Tilbury and joining a collaborative health care team that provides so many services to patients in one location”.

“Dr. Limbombe is a welcome addition to our existing team, and we look forward to his arrival where he will serve the community of Tilbury with taking over Dr. Naidoo’s current patient roster”, states Executive Director Kelly MacNeil.

The Tilbury District Family Health Team Community Board of Directors wishes to welcome Dr. Limbombe. "The Board of Directors of the TDFHT is pleased to welcome Dr. Limbombe to the team and looks forward to working with him on the team as we continue to serve our community. We wish Dr. Naidoo all the best in his future endeavors and salute him for his contributions to the TDFHT.” All existing patients of Dr. Naidoo will be informed of the change by mail as to the details of transferring to Dr. Limbombe.
