The Tilbury District Family Health Team (TDFHT) would like to inform the patients of Dr. Dhanesh Juta and Dr. Bhavna Thakersee that they will be leaving their practice in August. Their choice to leave Tilbury was a difficult one but they decided to move to Toronto for personal family reasons.

Dr Juta and Dr. Thakersee would like to express how much they have enjoyed working in Tilbury. “It is with mixed emotion that we are leaving” says Dr. Juta. “We really loved practicing in the community. We wanted to thank our patients for the honour of allowing us to serve and take care of them. We want to wish the staff, patients and volunteers all the best and we will miss them dearly.”

The TDFHT is pleased to welcome two new physicians who will take over Dr. Thakersee and Dr. Juta’s practices. Dr. Naresh Patel who is currently practicing in Hamilton will take over Dr. Juta’s practice and Dr. Preet Dhaliwal who is working in Windsor will take over Dr. Thakersee’s practice.

We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Although their shoes will be difficult to fill, the TDFHT is pleased to announce the recruitment of 2 new physicians. We are excited to welcome Dr's Patel and Dhaliwal who are both eager to start practicing within the next month" states TDFHT Board Chair, Paul Vagners.

All existing patients of Dr.’s Juta & Thakersee will be notified of the change by mail as to the details of transferring to Dr.’s Patel and Dhaliwal.
